Super Bear Beats is a rhythm game designed and developed as part of COMP313 (2016) using Unity. Players choose their bear to play as, which each have their own move sets. Play style is a tug of war, meaning players will need to out-dance each other to win. Difficulty can be chosen both through the move sets of the bears and choosing songs with higher BPM. The game was designed with the ability to adapt to any song.
This project was developed by a team of three developers (myself, Cameron Bryes and Callum Gill) and three designers (Gerrit van Rooyen, Nicola Yeo and Sam Pappafloratos).
Some key elements I worked on were moving the notes to the beat of the music, the majority of the menu screens and the data pipeline for song and character selection.
