PXLJAM 2016

DOT/i

ROLE: GAME DEVELOPER AND LEVEL DESIGNER

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Dot/i is a 3D puzzle platformer that was created at PxlJam (2016), a 48 hour game making competition. It won best overall game. The game was developed to the contest theme "it's not a bug, it's a feature". The premise of the game was that the main character, a ladybug name Doti, was able to shift between the real world and the simulation world to reveal both obstacles and ways to progress through the game.

The development team was multi-disciplinary students at Victoria University including two developers (myself and Tana Tanoi), two desginers (Gerrit van Rooyen and Nicola Yeo) and composer (Jackson Cordery).
